Still under test I fear I should have read recent reviews of this product as it's common for mis-shaping after a few washes which is a shame as the Rab equivalent was just £1.00 cheaper. |

| I was still making my mind up over Merino base layers but after purchasing Rab's latest addition during the Summer of 2016 I was again disappointed with how easily they misshape which didn't sit well after paying close to £50.00 I personally think that the big outdoor manufactures need to go back to the drawing board where Merino wool is concerned. |

Mountain Equipment Micro Zip Fleece

| i wanted something to replace my ageing Rab Power Stretch so I went out and purchased the Mountain Equipment Micro Zip Fleece. Initially I found that the fit wasn't as active and more bulky than the Power Stretch and therefore I tended to go back to the Rab which despite getting on for five years old hasn't lost its shape and still keeps me warm when used as a base layer during the Winter months. The Micro Fleece is still a great purchase although I tend to use it when taking my dogs out as opposed to when out on the fells. |
