The hamlet of Thackwaite is found to the east of Low Fell and Fellbarrow and gives great access to both fells and the Vale of Lorton. Unfortunately parking in Theocrat is strictly limited due to the narrow lane which provides access in and out of the village, my advise is to leave the car in Loweswater and take in Thackwaite by foot. |
