Harter Fell (Mardale) and High Street.

High Street, The Rigg and Harter Fell from a very Icy Mardale Road. It was a simple case of taking real care driving down, any surface water had frozen over the night on the road making it for difficult driving conditions so much so that even the slush had frozen in the middle of the road hitting the bottom of the car as I drove over. I half expected the car park to be empty but true to traditions I was wrong.

High Street.

Lunch time and its so peaceful on the summit. I dug in here to have lunch, every time I’m up here I always eat here I'd gone unnoticed all the time I was here, just sat there watching the world go by completely unnoticed. Here looking towards the summit Trig Point.

Haweswater Reservoir.

Two reasons why this walk was so special to me. One it was my first ever lone walk and two, It was High Street my favourite Fell in the Lake District .
