In the mist of recovering from crocking my back last Sunday I'm trying to make the most of the light evenings after work by going out on my bike at least three time a week.
Not all of my bike rides will make it to the website after all this is a fell walking website but some deserve to be shared just like this one.

It hadn't been the best of days forecast wise but it was set to turn brighter for the last couple of hours before sunset so I left work a little earlier and changed quickly as soon as I got home. Within twenty minutes of uphill slog from home I'd made it to Top Lock before making my way towards Haigh Hall.

I can really pick some speed up descending Pendlebury Lane but there was no way was ignoring this gorgeous sunset so I stopped and just took it in for a while.

Its got to the point where I'm wearing my head torch instead of a proper light set for my bike which I guess does the job just as well. I'm still suffering with my bad back but as the doc advised 'keep moving'
I'm glad I took his advise and took to the bike tonight.
