The main crag, over looking the valley, is a sheer wall of rock split by two gullies of which the more prominent is, or was before fashions resort of climbers. The Langstrath slopes are very steep everywhere and a tumble of fallen blocks obstructs easy passage of the popular path to Stake Pass along the base - one huge boulder in particular, Blea Rock, crowning a little rise, is conspicuous landmark here.
