Haycock

Overview
Height: 2,618 Feet - 797 Metres
Grid Ref: NY 145 107
Area: Western
Ordnance Survey: OL6
Wainwright Guidebook: Seven

Haycock rises in a massive dome on the Wasdale and Ennerdale watershed, and its comparative neglect by walkers must be ascribed more to its remote position on the fringe of the dreary and unattractive moors of Kinninside and Copeland than to its own shortcomings, which are few.
