Loft Crag

Overview
Height: 2,230 Feet - 680 Metres
Grid Ref: NY 277 071
Area: Central
Ordnance Survey: OL6
Wainwright Guidebook: Three

Beyond Thorn Crag a subsidiary summit, the deep-cut ravines of Dungeon Ghyll form the eastern boundary of the fell, but on the west side the line of demarcation is less exact, watercourses being submerged in rivers of scree.

Although it must rank after the two Stickles, Loft Crag is a worthy member of a fine trinity of peaks.
